Jersey Intensity 2nd Annual USA Stick Starz & Turf Tykes Program

What?
* Jersey Intensity second year offering the USA Stick Starz & Turf Tykes Program.
* TurfTykes is designed for our youngest 5-7 year old players.
* StickStarz is for young players 8-11. Age is determined by how old the child is on January 1.
* Open to both boys and girls.
* Both programs are part of USA Field Hockey's athlete development pipeline and serve as feeders directly into the already nationally recognized and successful Futures Program.
* StickStarz and TurfTykes consist of eight, 1.5 hour sessions with 45 minutes dedicated to skill development and 45 minutes
dedicated to fun games.
* Main goal of the program is to have FUN while learning the sport of field hockey. A standardized curriculum offers an 8 session introduction to skills and fundamental development through FUN activities designed specifically for children. Our goal is to put a stick and ball in the hands of girls and boys in an environment which promotes FUN participation while learning basic field hockey skills.
